The help of Inha University Hospital doctors was needed for my mother-in-law, who came here to remove a malignant kidney tumor. Although at first it was scary to travel to faraway Korea, we liked the friendly attitude of the staff, especially Dr. Son Do Hwan. Everything was organized very competently, and preparation for the operation and recovery after it went quickly: we spent only 11 days in the hospital.

In the summer, I decided to undergo a preventive examination, which revealed a malignant prostate tumor. We decided not to delay surgery and to perform it in the coming days.

My surgeon was Dr. Oh Jin Gyu. I was convinced that he became the leading specialist in the urology department for good reason: he not only performed the surgery excellently but also monitored my health the entire time I spent at "Gil." The doctor did everything to ensure I recovered as soon as possible, behaving very attentively and tactfully. After the tumor removal (which took 5 hours!), he approached my relatives, answered all their questions, and reassured them.

I can say with confidence that he deserves his reputation 100%—he quickly assessed my condition and operated. After the operation, he visited me daily, monitoring how the rehabilitation was going and whether there were any complications. It is immediately calming and inspiring hope when you see how attentively and thoroughly such a wonderful professor approaches treatment.

I never planned to be treated abroad, but in the end, I had to seek help overseas when doctors in my hometown could not make a diagnosis. Fortunately, the doctors at "Ihwa" managed to do so. They convened a consultation, examined me from head to toe, and were able to name the cause—kidney cancer.

I was operated on here, and the surgeon assured me that everything went successfully. I recovered from anesthesia quite easily and quickly began to improve.
