Diagnosis and treatment of Sarcoidosis in Thailand

The hospital building is very modern and very well organized. When you arrive,   someone from the administration will help with registration and then take you to the clinic where your appointment is scheduled. You may have to wait to see a doctor, but everything is within reasonable limits. In my case, I think I should have made an appointment with a surgeon right away, not an endocrinologist. It took two days before the endocrinologist to repeat the same procedure I had done in Bahrain, that is, to repeat the ultrasound, which turned out to be an exact copy of the report made in Bahrain. And one new test was done. Anyway, after meeting again with the endocrinologist with the ultrasound and lab results, she decided to refer me to a surgeon who looked at the ultrasound results as well as the biopsy reports. He recommended surgery to remove the right lobe of the thyroid gland. He said if the nodule found there is cancerous, then the left lobe should also be removed. A period of two weeks is recommended for surgery and subsequent observation. I asked for a treatment cost estimate, after which I was given an approximate estimate for the surgery. I did not agree to the surgery at the clinic because the cost was three times higher than the cost of the same surgery in Bahrain. And it did not cover accommodation, food, and medicine expenses.

I have lung cancer. Bumrungrad in Thailand – is one of the few places where patients are given a chance. I couldn't not take advantage of it and am grateful to your company for organizing my stay at the hospital. I don't regret the trip. I don't know how high the probability of a full recovery is, but some symptoms don't bother me now. I will have to visit the clinic a few more times, but for now, I'm following the recommended chemotherapy course.

My father is very pleased with everything that happened to him in this wonderful hospital. He believes that no hospital in Asia can compare with the professionalism of the doctors and the friendliness of the nurses. The only drawback – the medical staff has poor English, and this is unacceptable for an international clinic.
